Bono teams up with Louis Vuitton for Africa-Inspired Clothing Range
U2 frontman Bono has announced that he is teaming up with designer fashion label Louis Vuitton to launch an African-themed clothing range. Bono and his wife set up their clothing range ‘Edun’ back in 2005, however the fashion firm went into debt last year, which led to bosses at LVMH, which owns couture house Louis Vuitton to buy a stake in the company to help boost profits.Bono has now teamed up with Louis Vuitton to create a new line of clothes and confirmed the details at the Africa Rising Art Exhibition in Paris on Wednesday 6th October, telling the crowd “We are excited to draw attention to the new mood in Africa which is positive and optimistic.” – M-is-for-Music
