My Dream Woman is IMAN – {Yves Saint Laurent}

One of our HauTe Favourites, the legendary Algerian-Born designer Yves Saint Laurent was known to be the first designer to create tuxedo suit for women and particularly first to  introduce ethnic models in his runway shows. YSL as people love to call him was a respected designer before his death in 2008; during his lifetime, had a number of Female Muses he worked with.Supermodel Iman Abdul-Majid amongst others must’ve been his Top Muse, YSL described the Somalian beauty as his ” …..Dream Woman” – I mean who wouldn’t?- , it was also recorded that another one of his favorite muses was the Guinean-born Senegalese supermodel Katoucha Niane.
