Lisp – #CTFW 2011

Oriel Barnard is the creative designer for Lisp, a fashion label inspired by Rock ‘n’ Roll and the glamorous 70s. Thing were taken a notch down on the runway for the usually grunge, youthful and unabashed label with softer tones and florals incorporated into the collection. This time around music festivals were magic piece the completed the aesthetic of the label. But the collection was not completely lost to reinvention, hints of signature styles like body fitting jumpsuits, large brimmed sun hats and ripped denim shorts paired with t-shirt display statements of love (very 70s). This spring/summer collection features many pieces to go into your wardrobe and inspires DIY fashion too. Don’t you just love the feel the Grecian-styled flower headbands give the collection? We do!

Nucleus – #CTFW 2011

The Nucleus Spring/Summer 2011 range is inspired by the concept of a Urban Modern Hippy Free-flowing effortless dressing with light and easy fitting garment and natural palettes. Things were kept pretty tied up on the runway with obi belts and bow details which gave the collection character and style. This collection would very well appeal to the easy-going, understated and minimalist fashionista.

Lalesso – #CTFW 2011

The Lalesso spring/summer collection was rightfully described as mirroring passion, romance, power and movement of Africa into a digital era with traditional African prints redefined on light billowy fabrics and incorporated into modern classic designs. The collection featured maxi dresses and prints blended with black to form clean figure flattering silhouettes. The designing duo delivered a colelction that we are very well pleased with.
