African Inspired: Petrouman S/S 2012 Collection

For all the fashion loving men out there, Petrouman’s recent S/S 2012 Collection seems to have drawn strong inspiration from Africa, certainly through its use of fabrics. This recent assemblage is confined to mainly deep denim blues, stone grey, browns and creams- very earthy… very African. Loving the tribal hand patterns recurring in most of the garments and elasticized cropped harems. Notice a very similar vibe to that of Ozwald Boatengs S/S 2012 Collection from London Fashion Week, (particularly the Suit Blazers paired with the trim shorts). Petrou’s past collections can be found in publications such as Vogue, Elle, Bazaar, Numero,  Interview, Metal and The New York Times.

A very covet-able collection for men I say.
