African Inspired: Egle Tvirbutaite for L’Officiel Paris.
Styled by Alexandra Elbim, model Egle Tvirbutaite poses gracefully for a new L’Officiel Paris shoot by Polish fashion photographer Marcin Tyszka. Alexandra successfully pulls off another high end African inspired shoot for February 2012, using garments from the likes of Burberry, Gucci, Kenzo, Marni, Chloe and Pringle of Scotland, to name a few. If you recall from last year, VOGUE Australia also released their own African- inspired edition, with the above designers also making appearances. The clashing prints and fabrics are favourably thrown together with a very contemporary-chic edge, representing the continual rise of African fashion, (and the inspired participants) which doesn’t seem to be ’falling off the map’ any time soon.
