ARiSE Magazine Fashion Week 2012: Who’s Back, Not and We’d love to see this Year.
Your favourite International African Magazine, ARiSE Magazine have announced its return to Lagos for another Fashion Show/Week Extravaganza, which will hold from the 6th of March – 11th of March 2012 on the grounds of the luxurious 5-Star Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos, Nigeria.
Only this time it will feature 77 participants from 6 continents – including designers as far away as India, the Caribbean, USA, Europe and Africa as oppose to their debut show last year with 50 – 52 Designers.
In true HauTe Fashion Africa taste, we have scanned through this list, and broken them down into several sections; those that are back, those that are not, and of course, those we’d like to see, including adding 11 Designers missing from the official list sent out my Arise Magazine last week, which had only 66, so exciting, you know how like to dream.

Previously, ARISE had a successful run of THREE seasons (in 2009, 2010 and 2011) of the ARISE AFRICA FASHION COLLECTIVES at New York Fashion Week’s Bryant Park, New York, and the triumphant sponsorship of the inaugural ARISE AFRICA FASHION WEEK at the Sandton Convention Centre, in Johannesburg and Cape Town in 2009.
In March 2011, ARISE Magazine announced it was to host its inaugural show in Lagos, where it invited over 50 designers to participate at the prestigious Federal Palace Hotel, Nigeria produced by Bacchus studios.
This year Award-winning New York-based producer, Kevin Krier & Associates and celebrated UK-based Inca Productions have been appointed AMFW 2012 show producers.
