Bisma Ahmed – B’zma:

They say simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. Bisma Ahmed – B’zma showcased a simple wearable Indian inspired collection.Light materials, soft color tones with a touch of unique detailing were the order of the collection. Sheer gowns, Indian detailing, and shimmering fabrics were the key trends. Talk about mmbroidered flowing gowns.

A relaxed, modern Indian collection with a bit of influence from other cultures.

Maita Marimo:

Maita Marimo introduced us to a futuristic fourteen piece collection. The collection was dominated by black with traces of white, brown, gold and peach. Signature pieces included a white body hugging cat-suit, one arm dress and a short black thin layered dress with round bronze-ish detailing on the waist line.

The collection also featured diamond like hole dresses and a brown sheer flower embroidered dress with a layered-skirt-like garment put over it.

David Tlale:

(David Tlale Rep)

I would like to call this “The White Collection'”.

As always David Tlale delivered an impressive range of looks: pure and refined. The pieces focused on layering, bubble dresses, keyhole garments, drapes, fish dresses with a bit of layering and silver-buttoned-like detailing. The male models strutted the runway in Jalabiyya.

Reminiscent to the collection he showcased at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Cape Town, the all white collection was spiced up by the omber dyed tights. The looks were finished off with either white, red or blue make up around or under the models faces.
