New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013 [Day 2]: Korto Momolu
Think refreshing. Picture classy, chic and minimal. A fusion of different textures, dimensions, multicolored pieces, peplums and plunging necklines. Though Korto Momolu’s collection was modern l couldn’t help but sense a vintage vibe. Some pieces like the blood red and white jumpsuit with black detailing on the sleeves and the digital shirt dress reminded me of the “Elizabeth Taylor era” with a 21st century twist. Some pieces were oozing a bit of old Hollywood glam meets Parisian style. Skinny belts in different colors and patterns were used to accessorize. Interesting trends included a dress with sequin sleeves and a rainbow dyed top.
