Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013 [Day 3]: Lanvin
Lanvin showcased possibly the most versatile collection thus far. Exaggerated shoulders and waist lines, structured pieces, sequins and tailored looks where seen on the runway.
Dark color tones dominated while purple, yellow, maroon and pink satin pieces added some color. Revealing pieces, a balance between sexy, formal and smart casual looks. Some pieces were finished off with skinny belts creating feminine silhouettes.
Though a few outfits like the black jump suit with a plunging neckline paired with a tailored jacket and figure belt stood out, I felt the overall vibe of the collection was uninspiring and lacked creativity. Definitely not the strongest collection of the season thus far.
