The Schedule: MTN Lagos Fashion & Design Week Spring/Summer 2013 [October 24th - 27th, 2012]

It’s finally here, the very exciting journey of the MTN Lagos Fashion & Design Week has been entertaining as it has been rewarding and educative. It started with the Screenings across the Nation, which led to announcing L’Espace Co-Founder Isoken Ogiemwonyi as the winner of the Young Creative Entrepreneur of the year, which included a Prize trip to London to meet with other Young Creative Entrepreneurs around the world courtesy of the British Council. From the Screenings, the Top 12 Designer finalists who will compete for the prestigious title “MTN Lagos Fashion & Design Week Young Designer” + 4 Million Naira Cash, were also found. After going through Master Classes at the British Council, they will finally be showing of their work starting with an exhibition at the Porshe Center on the 24th of October at the LFDW Cocktail, before finally showing their Runway looks on the 27th of October at the MTN Lagos Fashion & Design Week Finale. All is all, the schedule looks quite exciting as it promises to debut the Spring/Summer 2013 Collection of some of your favourite Designers.
