MTN Lagos Fashion & Design Week Spring Summer 2013 [Day 2]: House of Form & Function | Kola Kuddus
House of Form & Function:
It was formal meets tradition at the House of Form & Function. Cropped pants, modern Nigerian traditional wear and floral’s were some of the trends spotted on the runway. The collection had lots of white, green and blue. Bold patterns and interesting detailing. A simple collection with a combination of strong and soft pattern references.
Kola Kuddus:
Fabric blocking was the main influence at Kola Kuddus. The collection had a mixture of casual, formal and traditional wear. Strong colors paired with the neutrals brown, black and purple were seen. The Jalabiyya, turban and waist coats were all featured. Comfortable looking flat shoes in a series of color palettes finished off the outfits. A seventeen piece collection with an interesting taste in the pairing of garments.
