MTN Lagos Fashion & Design Week Spring/Summer 2013: Mai Atafo

Blue was the  new black at Mai Atafo. A masculine collection dominated by different shades of blue was presented. It was refreshing to see a menswear collection refrain from the the usual black. Lose fitting knee length shorts and tailored blazers made an appearance. The collection was generally modern though l felt some pieces were a bit old style.  The different shoe colors added a nice finishing touch to the different looks. Single and double breasted blazers/jackets with notched and peaked lapels, the collection was a mixture of formal and smart casual. Boutonniere’s were added on some of the jackets.
