New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2013 [Day 3]: Herve Leger

Bold, dark and detailed – the Herve Leger collection was dominated by black. A twist was added to the bandage dresses which were paired with matching leggings and caps, creating eye catching pieces. Cropped tops, leather,  stud detailing,  fur and embroidery also featured in the collection. Art deco in striking patterns was prevalent. The caps toned down the looks, making them more casual and adding a high street/sporty flavour. Despite not showing a lot of skin, the collection still managed to carry sex appeal.

A striking but unobtrusive, feminine collection.
