Jo’Burg Fashion Week A/W 2013 [Day 2] : Thula Sindi
The Thula Sindi collection was more edgy than usual. Leather featured a lot and over-the-knee socks were worn in most outfits creating bold looks. Spray-painted like floral also featured as seen with the flow length dress. The doily was dominant and was even applied on leather introducing us to an unusual trend. Delicate materials, interesting patterns, turtle neck and embroidery, this collection had a strong feminine element. Though I thought one or two pieces seemed a little incommensurate the overall collection was refined and the detailing perfectly executed. The bright hues definitely made a statement.
