The World Economic Forum Global Shapers Event: Business of Fashion, 23rd of March, 2013.
The World Economic Forum Global Shapers is hosting an interactive connect session, following the success of their previous event which saw Abuja’s enterprising youth network for an evening.
This time the Shapers are focusing on “The Business of Fashion” with Nigeria’s burgeoning fashion industry, the event to be held tomorrow, Saturday the 23rd of March at Bamboo house Abuja will show case young designers such as Dzyn, Hephzibah Couture, Falke, & September 26, with an interactive session where each designer shares their influences and inspiration with the audience.
Sponsored by Lanson champagne, the event will be a relaxing evening of complimentary champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries for guests.
The shapers released a joint statement saying “We aim to show the different routes to economic success, and have chosen to highlight the fast paced growing Fashion industry in Nigeria. We will be documenting the process, from the selection of models to the final show. We hope to show case young African designs to an international audience, while educating people about “The Business of Fashion”.
