Robyn De Klerk is a LISOF 2003 bursary graduate. After graduating she went on to experience many facets of the fashion industry by working for designers like Marianne Fassler and Marc and Michael before going solo in 2007 and focusing on bespoke items for private clients. She stumbled into the film industry by chance and has continued to work as a stylist for shoots, shows and events. The ELLE New Talent 2008 competition showed off her immense skill as she reached finalist status. In April 2009, she showed her debut show for Spring/Summer 2009/10 at SA Fashion Week.
Robyn De Klerk is an investigator, fascinated by the future and enthralled by the past. Her intentions are to observe, report and invent. Attention to detail, sensitivity to the senses and a love for the surreal and fantastical influence her design ethic. Fashion forays include styling, private clients and a ready-to-wear label.
