Raised in Nigeria, Eku Edewor is an actress, presenter and model who also has experience in production. After primary school, she completed two years of secondary school in Lagos before completing her education in the UK . She has a 2.1 Ba Honours in English and Theatre from the University of Warwick and also completed a Diploma in Acting for Film at the New York Film Academy.

tion experience Eku has worked with numerous artists, producers and writers, she worke closely with Producer Damian Jones on the 2009 Ian Dury Biopic, Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll, which included a star studded cast and crew; Director Mat Whitecross and Actors, Andy Serkis, Naomie Harris.
Internationally, she was the Project Manager for ARISE Magazine, coordinating the production of the ARISE Collective III, 2010 Autumn/ Winter Ready to Wear Show at New York Fashion Week and a Fashion Exhibition introducing African Designers at the Four Seasons in Paris for Women’s Fashion Week.
In 2010 she landed the job as co-host for the popular M-Net show 53 Extra. Since joining 53 Extra Eku has booked constant work as a presenter, host, and actress. She opened Big Brother Africa All Stars as IK’s co-presenter, walked in top shows at ARISE Fashion Weeks, was the host for Elite Model Look Nigeria 2010 and 2011, Red Carpet Presenter for The African International Film Festival 2010 and 2011, and most recently was cast as the lead, in the first ever Martini TVC shot in Nigeria, West Africa.
In 2011 M-Net South Africa unveiled an ad campaign to celebrate its 25th year anniversary. The campaign created by Ogilvy in Johannesburg, was a portrait of 25 of the most prominent faces on the continent, it was shot to ‘reflect the past as well as the future of M-Net.” Eku Edewor was one the stars chosen to participate in the campaign, others included Dineo Moeketsi, ProVerb, Elana Afrika and Lungile Radu.
In 2011 Eku was nominated and won awards for her contributions in her field, she was acknowledged at the Future Award as ‘Best On Air Personality of the year’ other nominations include FAB Magazine ‘TV Presenter of the Year’ Sideview Magazine ‘Most Stylish Woman of the Year’ and ‘Breakthrough Talent’. The Nigerian Broadcasters Awards recognized her under the categories ‘Sexiest TV Personality’ and ‘Most popular TV Personality’. The popular daily paper City People, presented Eku with the award as the “ Most Stylish Showbiz Female Personality of the Year’
